Text Layer costs $9 per month, flat, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. The card is charged at checkout; there is no trial and no charge beyond the monthly $9. You may cancel at any time by writing to support@textlayer.co; access continues to the end of the month you have paid for.

Your documents are yours. The tool works on them inside your own browser, and nothing you open is sent to us or stored by us; there is no copy of a document of yours on our side to lose, export or delete. We hold the billing identifiers Stripe gives us for the subscription, and, if you write to us, your messages.

The service is provided on a best-efforts basis and is not a substitute for the customer's own professional judgement or obligations. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude liability for consequential loss.

We may suspend or end the service with notice in writing; where we end it other than for non-payment, the month you are in is refunded. Prices for a renewal month may change with at least 30 days' notice in writing, and you may cancel instead of paying it.
