What the $9 covers

- The words on a scanned page read into their own layer, with the picture left alone.
- As many documents as you like, on one Mac.
- Your document never leaving that Mac — there is nothing to switch off.

A monthly subscription, billed monthly in advance. The card is charged at checkout — there is no trial and nothing later.
Stop any time by writing to support@textlayer.co: the plan is cancelled and the month you are in is refunded in full if you cancel within 14 days of a charge. Refund rule on the Refunds page.
Payment is handled by Stripe. The receipt it sends you is your record.
Before you pay
Open the tool and put a real page through it: change a line, lift the text out, read a scan. It works before you subscribe, and it keeps working on files you have already opened. The subscription is what pays for the work.
A card is charged at checkout and then monthly, in advance, until you stop it. There is no trial period and no later charge beyond the monthly $9 — the wording here and on the checkout page say the same thing.
What it will not do
No forms or field building, no signing, no reflowing a page's layout, no handwriting, no password-locked files, no text layers on pages that are turned inside the file. The front page sets out each one.
